Acceptance
By accessing or using Tinyverse, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not use the service.
Who Can Use
The service is designed for children, but accounts must be created and managed by adults. There are two account types:
Parent/Guardian Accounts: Created and managed by a parent or legal guardian for personal family use. Use by children under 13 requires verifiable parental consent.
Educator/Institutional Accounts: Created and managed by school staff (BCBAs, RBTs, teachers, counselors) for professional use in educational settings. These accounts are governed by the institution's agreement with Tinyverse and applicable education privacy laws including FERPA.
Institutional & School Use
Schools, school districts, and licensed clinical providers using Tinyverse on behalf of students must execute a Data Privacy Agreement (DPA) prior to institutional use. Institutional users are responsible for obtaining all necessary parental notifications, ensuring FERPA/COPPA compliance, and designating an authorized administrator. To request a DPA, contact hello@tinyverse.ai.
School and Educator Use
When Tinyverse is used by educational institutions, the following additional terms apply:
- •The institution is responsible for ensuring appropriate use of the platform by its staff.
- •Staff may enter student first names to personalize story content. Staff are responsible for obtaining any necessary institutional approvals before entering student information.
- •Stories created by staff for students remain the property of the creating institution and may be deleted upon request.
- •Tinyverse will not use student data for any purpose other than providing the service to the institution.
- •Educational institutions may request a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) by contacting hello@tinyverse.ai.
- •A free pilot period is available for qualifying institutions. Contact hello@tinyverse.ai to learn more.
Account Management
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
Registration
You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
Security
Your password should be unique and complex to ensure safety.
Ownership
All software, designs, and core assets of Tinyverse remain the exclusive property of our company. Your usage grant is limited and non-exclusive.
Payments & Credits
Clear rules for our virtual credit system and subscription services.
Credit Rules
Credits are used for story generation. They hold no cash value and cannot be transferred between accounts.
Rollover Policy
Unused monthly credits expire at the end of the billing cycle unless explicitly stated in your plan terms.
Refunds
Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Subscription cancellations take effect at the end of the term.
User Conduct
Users must not use the platform for any illegal activities or to generate harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content for children.
Content Rights
You retain ownership of the stories you create. However, you grant Tinyverse a license to store and process this content to provide the service.
Service Availability
We strive for maximum uptime but do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free at all times.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms, without prior notice or liability.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tinyverse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Tinyverse harmless from any claims arising out of your use of the service or violation of these terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Chimp Brain Labs LLC is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles. For institutional users, applicable federal laws including FERPA and COPPA also govern use of this service.
Modifications
We may revise these terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page with the effective date.
AI Disclosure
Story text and illustrations are generated using artificial intelligence, including Google's Gemini API. AI-generated content is reviewed for quality and appropriateness but may occasionally require editing. Tinyverse does not send personally identifiable student information to AI providers. Story prompts are anonymized before processing.
For educational users: AI-generated social stories are provided as a starting point and should be reviewed by qualified staff before sharing with students.

Data Privacy Agreement (DPA)
Tinyverse offers Data Privacy Agreements for schools, school districts, and licensed clinical providers. A DPA establishes the data processing relationship between Tinyverse and the institution, activates FERPA school official status, and enables the COPPA school consent exception for institutional use. DPAs are available upon request at no additional cost.
To request a DPA, email hello@tinyverse.ai with the name of your institution, your role, and the intended use of the platform.
